Levi's® Workshops are a series of community-based venues dedicated to creative production and collaboration.

Los Angeles Film Workshop

The Levi’s® Film Workshop was housed inside the Geffen Contemporary at MOCA during the Art in the Streets Exhibition. The Workshops's equipment rentals, edit suites and other resources were available to all, free of charge. Our collaborative film projects ranged from documentaries and artist films to action packed skate and martial arts shorts.

BERLIN PRINT WORKSHOP

The fourth in a series of Levi's® Workshops and the first in Europe, the Levi's® Print Workshop in Berlin was located in Berlin's central core, Mitte, and housed in a temporary space in the city's former mint "Alte Münze" (Old Coin). Levi's® provided free screen printing equipment and supplies, hosted regular instructional workshops, and collaborated with some of Berlin's most pioneering individuals. This program marked the global launch of the Brand's "Go Forth" campaign and continued its longstanding commitment of craftsmanship, community, and social progress.

NEW YORK PHOTO WORKSHOP

To celebrate the city and its people, we opened this community-based venue at the former Deitch Projects in SoHo. The Levi's® Photo Workshop was a public facility that featured a professional-grade studio, vintage camera rental, printing equipment, and other resources that equipped professionals and amateurs alike.

SAN FRANCISCO PRINT WORKSHOP

The first Levi's® Workshop coalesced in the Mission District of San Francisco, taking the form of a community letterpress and silkscreen print shop. We produced a startling amount of work with local Pioneers, non-profit partners, artists and new friends from the neighborhood.
